Hello: First, I want to say that I really enjoyed the novelization you did for Star Trek! Awesome! I consider Deanna Troi to be a role model (I'm going for my MSW next year!) and I hope to see more of her. Next: A few years ago I tried to get the editor of the Star Trek book series at SimonSays to publish more novels featuring Deanna as a major

Hi Susan, I just read your newest Blaze, 'Bordering on Obsession' and was bowled over by it. You see, I've only ever read you since the inception of the Blaze line (I don't like Intrigue at all) and I felt this title is by far your best. IMHO, the others had too much intrigue in them and not enough of the sexy and sensual romance as the Blaze series had promised. But Quinn sounds gorgeous (if perhaps much more mature than any 28 y.o. I know), and I liked that Maggie was older than him. Nice change! Keep up the good work!

I just finished reading your book Saving the Girl Next Door, and it was magnificent. I honestly couldn't put it down. I started it and finished it in the same night:) The characters were so rich and alive, the reader couldn't help but fall in love with them. Wonderful:) I love your style of writing, fun and exciting. I was wondering if you could give me a few pointers. I'm 17 and right now working on my second novel, (only published poems I'm afraid.) If you could give me any advice on my actual work or on how I might go about finding an editor to start on the process of possibly becoming published, it would be greatly appiciated:) *no that wasn't round about...lol* Anyway, you can view all of my written works, but my second novel which I am posting on another site but I can e-mail the website to you upon request, on my home page listed. It is all under my writing corner:) I would love to hear what you think:) Thank you so much and once again amazing novel, Heather Wills

Susan, I have enjoyed your books very much. Though I was very disappointed in one of the last books I read. There was an obvious lack of proofreading in "Daddy To The Rescue", the names of the characters were interchanged several times and lead to a lot of confusion and at the end where the next book is being promoted the title is not the same as on the actual book. It says "Guarding the Heiress" and the book is titled "Defending the Heiress". Someone messed up!! Thanks for the fun 'reads'. Susan H.

So far I have read the first and third book in your Heroes Inc. series and I'm reading the second one right now. I really like this series and I hope you will be writing more for this series. I don't usually like romance books either. I was out of my own books so I borrowed one of my moms and all she had that I hadn't read already was the harlequin books so I tried one and now I am fan. So far your books are my favorite. Anyway thanks and I hope you continue to write more.

Hi Susan, I just finished readking Defending The Heiress, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I have read several books where the main characters get married and have children, or the wife is pregnant. I read Daddy To The Rescue, and I thought 'why don't they ever write where the wife goes to the hospital to have her baby, and the husband is there with her, and Defending The Heiress answered that question. This is the first book that has ended this way, and makes it more true to life than any others I've read. I can't wait to read other books that you've written.

Dear Susan, First of all, let me start by saying your a fantastic writer. I mean I'm the type of person who doesn't like to read books over more than once because I figure heck I've read it once, why read it again, but your books I just love. My mom used to get some of Harlequin/Intrigue books with wine glasses and she let me borrow a few, well, I read 2 of the three little series about Jake and his two sisters. The only one I haven't read is Hidden Hearts and it was heck just trying to even find it on the internet! But i'm sure I have it somewhere but I just can't find it and the series wouldn't be complete if I didn't read it! Anyway my point is I was wondering if you could e-mail me and tell me where I might be able to find that last book so that i'm not stuck in the middle without finishing the trilogy. If you would I would greatly appreciate it! Thank you, you are like I said such an awesome writer!!! Keep doing a terrific job!!!

I just wanted to drop a line to ask you if you realized that when the Family Tree for the Zared's (in the Royal Target) went to print that someone made and error and wrote Prince Alexander was married to Hunter Leigh, instead of putting Princess Tashya? Hello: First, I want to say that I really enjoyed the novelization you did for Star Trek! Awesome! I consider Deanna Troi to be a role model (I'm going for my MSW next year!) and I hope to see more of her. Next: A few years ago I tried to get the editor of the Star Trek book series at SimonSays to publish more novels featuring Deanna as a major character. He told me that he hated Deanna novels because she couldn't do anything interesting because her powers always got in the way, and that he couldn't stand the novels where "Deanna falls in love" or "Deanna loses her powers." He wasn't open to any book with her as a main character at all, even when I pointed to specific novelizations as my case in point. He seems to, at the time, fancied novels wherein Data saves the Enterprise. He still does, to a point. Although, to a small extent he has allowed her some prominance currently in your novel Battle of Betazed and in the TNG version of the Gateways series (I hear Deanna is a captain in that one, but I can't vouch for the quality of the characterization because I haven't read it.) Your novel proves that Deanna can be a main character without her powers getting in the way. The "Maximum Warp" series had an author state through Deanna that she can't always tell if someone is lying. Laurel K. Hamilton proves that Deanna can solve a mystery without her powers making it boring. And Rebecca Neason wrote "Guises of the Mind" which, along with your novel, proves that Deanna can be a wonderful main character. Also Deanna had an "action packed" "suspense filled" episode wherein she became a Romulan Tal Shiar agent, proving that once again, her powers don't get in the way of a great action, mystery, suspense story (she has a hard time reading Vulcans and Romulans.) I am soliciting the authors who have written about Deanna as a major character to write a novel or six about Deanna that the editor would publish. May I suggest a book in the Section 31 series, or one where she teams up with Spock to help the Romulans, or one where she helps Worf with an Ambassadorial mission set after DS9 has ended? Anything! I forfit any rights to these novels, even if you write something along the plot lines that I suggested, whatsoever, just as long as I get to read it. The other authors that have written Deanna Centric novels are: Rebecca Neason - Guises of the Mind Laurel K. Hamilton - Nightshade Peter David - Imzadi and Imzadi II (he did another one called Q-In-Law that was utterly offensive, though... I was surprised and disappointed.) You may want to team up with one of them, seeing that you have such a marvelous career going and might not have the time to do an intire novel on your own. Sincerely, Melody Joy Dickson

Dear Susan, Last September my father bought a book store. Since then we have made a few changes and added new things. One of my customers favorite places in our store is my "Favorite Authors Wall". I first had the idea to set aside a few shelves and do a survey every few months to see which authors to display. In the beginning I collected top 20 and put the display in the window. Since then the display came out of the window and has taken over a 30 shelve wall display. I have been contacting authors all year and requesting an autographed photo, for which I provide the frame. Next to each photo I have author's current books. I know this was supposed to be my customer's favorite authors, but I thought it was only fair that I should be able to add "my" favorites too! I would be most honored to have you added to my wall if you can contribute an autographed picture. The Wall of Authors consists of the following:Danielle Steel, Nora Roberts, Catherine Coulter, Nina Bangs, Patricia Gaffney, Dorothy Garlock, Sharon Sala/Dinah McCall,Stella Cameron and many more. If you are interested, here is my store information: The Book Exchange 1107 "A" West Morris Hammond, LA 70403 Thank you for your awesome books! Sincerely, Ms. Charley Hardin PS. This is what I wrote on the Sensual Romance site: Yesterday, I got to meet four (count them) Blaze authors at once. What a thrill!!!! In Tampa were Julie Elizabeth Leto, Susan Kearney, Leslie Kelly, and Jeanie London (sorry, I decided to use your names that people would recognize). These women were friendly, informative, inquisitive, and very family oriented. We discussed "other reviewers", birth control, men, words of love, royalities, sex, finding time to write, RITA awards, children, weddings, and fellowship between writers. You know just regular every day things. Now I can put faces to these authors and want to thank them for finding the time to write books that give me, the reader countless hours of enjoyment. *I look forward to reading the books I bought yesterday. Will review when I finish all three. Again, I enjoyed meeting you.

Already have HIDDEN HEARTS but I'm waiting to get the other two so I can read them all at once (we'll just have to see if I have that much strength of will). Having them come out in consecutiv HIDDEN HEARTS but I'm waiting to get the other two so I can read them all at once (we'll just have to see if I have that much strength of will). I love it when a series runs in 3 consecutive months, instead of months between the books. I'll definitely be on the lookout for the CIA mini series (Hidden Hearts, Hidden Years, & Lovers in Hiding).

Susan - Your Mom gave me this address. Believe it or not, we're cousins...distant but cousins nonetheless. Myron keeps me posted on your life as well as the rest of your family. I really don't think that going into more personal stuff is appropriate for a guestbook, so write to me if you want. Elin
